Andrew Weil
Andrew Weil received his M.D. from Harvard Medical School in 1968. After completing a medical internship at Mt. Zion Hospital in San Francisco, he worked for a year with the National Institute of Mental Health, then wrote his first book, The Natural Mind.
Andrew Weil is the author of many scientific and popular articles and of seven books. He also appears in two videos featured on PBS: Spontaneous Healing and Eight Weeks to Optimum Health.
Dr. Weil is Director of the Program in Integrative Medicine of the College of Medicine, University of Arizona. He also holds appointments as Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine and Clinical Assistant Professor of Family and Community Medicine. Dr. Weil is also the founder of the Foundation for Integrative medicine in Tucson and editor-in-chief of the journal Integrative Medicine.
